Harold E. Fisher, 76, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
He was born on June 19, 1940 in Grahn, Kentucky to the late James and Edna (Paynter) Fisher.
Harold was a hardworking family man and enjoyed working on cars. He enjoyed cookouts and parties with his grandchildren. He was employed by AK Steel where he retired in 2001. Harold was a member of the Lenox Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Freda Fisher; three sons, Jeff (Judy) Fisher of Mansfield, Chris (Crystal) Fisher, of Ashland, and Chad Fisher, of Mansfield; five daughters, Kimberly (Bill Hamilton) Adkins, of Mansfield, Vicki Fisher, of Mansfield, Connie (Tim) Stamper, of Mansfield, Liz (Bruce Bryant) Taylor, of West Salem, and Tammy (Tim) Fultz, of Morehead, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Terry (Bonnie) Fisher, of Florida, Larry (Ella) Fisher, of Mansfield, and Bobby Fisher, of Columbus; two sisters, Jackie Stegall, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Louise Birchfield, of Olive Hill, Kentucky; a brother-in-law, Gordan Hilderbrand, of Millersburg; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Hardwick, of Mansfield, Shirley Hilderbrand, of Shelby, and Linda (Don) Enyhart, of Columbus; a host of nieces, nephews and other very dear relatives.
Preceding him in death are his parents; one grandchild, Jennifer Adkins; two brothers, Charles and James Fisher; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Stegall, Asa Birchfield.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service conducted by Pastor James King will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 with additional visitation beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
