Betty Lue Cobb, age 80, of Mansfield, passed away surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She was born August 20, 1945, in Roane County, West Virginia, to the late Ernest Adams and Viola King-Hall.
She retired from Westinghouse. She enjoyed playing poker, gambling, UNO, and Bingo. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and family was a joy to her. She loved her beautiful plants and flowers and was always on the phone with her very close friends.
She is survived by her children, Scot Cobb and Misty Dawn Young; grandchildren, Hannah Medina, Austin Medina, Devin Williams, Alec Medina, and Liam Young; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Addison, Austin, Anah, Addelyn, Khloe, Knox, Hudson, Houston, and Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Belinda Cobb; great-grandchild, Kylee Taylor: sisters, Catherine Moore, Goldie Hall, Pauline Hall, Mable Smith, and Ernistine Adams; and brothers, Paul Hall and Franklin Hall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mark Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
