Elyana Marie Stephens, age 8 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born on August 19, 2016, in Mansfield to Robert Stephens, Jr., and Kaylee (Snyder) Stephens.
From the day she was born, Ely was quite the character. She was bossy, brilliant, and wise beyond her years. Everyone who met her wanted to know her better, and she had a smile you couldn’t forget. She cared deeply about other people, and her family will never forget how kind and giving she was.
Ely was a member of the Church of God on Trimble Road, and she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed flowers and playing outside, especially riding her bike, and she loved spending time at school and with her friends, aunt, and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her parents Kaylee and Robert Stephens, Jr.; her brothers Gage and Robert “Bubby” Stephens; her aunts Holly (Kenneth) Spencer and Lisa (John) Summers; her uncle Rick Stephens; her grandparents Michael Snyder and Tayna Barton and Julia and Robert Stephens, Sr.; her cousins Serena, Angelina, and Lilliana; her great-aunt Kathy Jett; her godparents Lisa and David Sharrock; her special friend Miss Debbie; and many extended family members and brothers and sisters in Christ who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her Mawmaw Barb, her Granny Fran, and her Aunt Margaret Cole.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Church of God, 808 N. Trimble Rd., Mansfield.
