Helaine Lucic, 94, of Ontario, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. Born October 28, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Jospeh and Nona (Brenneman) Heffner.
She was a member of Mansfield First Assembly of God and enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Lucic of Mansfield and Christopher (Anne) Lucic of Oracle, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lucic on March 16, 2000; a daughter, Andrea Lucic; a daughter-in-law, Rachel Lucic; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Rev. Thomas Blair. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
