Jack Snyder, 64, of Galion passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Grant Hospital in Columbus.
Born March 30, 1951 in Athens, he was the son of Leo and Shirley (Bullock) Snyder.
He retired from Allied Waste Services as a sanitary truck driver. Jack was a member of the Crawford County Conservation League and a huge Harley enthusiast who enjoyed traveling on his bike. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Jack was a very selfless person and would do anything to help anyone.
He is survived by children Jodi McKenzie, of Bucyrus, James Lee (Tesa) Snyder, of Howard, and Jeffrey Lee (Alice) Snyder, of Howard; three step-children; 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six step- grandchildren; one step great grandchild; sister Christy Hartson, of Mansfield and longtime companion Debbie Clevenger, with whom he made his home with for over 25 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a stepson, a grandson and a brother.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833.
