ASHLAND — Kingston of Ashland has launched a Lunch & Learn series for community members to enjoy a light lunch and discuss health issues on the third Tuesday of each month.

Physical Therapist, Annette Unferdorfer demonstrated different balance techniques at the most recent gathering. That presentation gave attendees the chance to take home and practice various examples in the privacy of their own homes.

She also gave different suggestions and ways to help them prevent fall during this difficult weather.

“It was great being able to talk with the different community members and to give them tips on how to be safe during this time of year,” Unferdorfer said.

Additionally, she will lead a new program at Kingston which will be a Vestibular Program aka Vertigo.

March’s Lunch & Learn will feature “Oh My Back!” with Truly Moore, Physical Therapist. She will be talking about Back Health and tips for a healthy back.
