Brenda Sue (Brown) Ray, 57, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Ohio Health MedCentral Hospital.
Brenda was born on Jan. 29, 1958, in Mansfield, to Stearl R. and Betty Lou (Tackett) Brown. She married Dallas Ray on April 22, 1978, and he survives. She enjoyed reading books, and spending time with her newborn granddaughter.
Along with her husband Dallas, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Daniel Barber of Mansfield; her granddaughter, Kaylee Sue Barber; four siblings, Karen Wade, Julie Brown, Rick Brown, and Larry Brown, all of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joe Brown.
The family will have private services at a later date. Werner Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 PAE, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
