Harry R. (Ron) Rheinbolt, 79, of North Robinson, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at his home.

Harry was born in Crawford County on April 14, 1936 to the late William and Amealia (Kinder) Rheinbolt. He married Geraldine M. Smith on June 11, 1976 and she preceded him in death on May 3, 2001.

He retired in 1998 after 32 years of service from Komatsu-Dresser, Galion. He was a proud Union Steward of Local #1151. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #303, Galion. Harry enjoyed harness racing and loved the Little Brown Jug, which he attended at the Delaware County Fair this September. He enjoyed watching professional wrestling and was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved hunting deer and went all over Ohio and Michigan in search of trophies.

He is survived by his son Les Hanlon, Sr. and his fiancé Mayra Moya, of North Robinson, his grandchildren Jamie and Eric Good, Kirkpatrick and Les and Alie Hanlon, Jr, Hastings, of Minnesota, his six great-grandchildren Levi D. Stewart, Kaden Stewart, Kaleb Good, Connor Good, Hayes Hanlon and Avenelle Hanlon, his sister-in-law Mildred Gaul, Galion, his nephews Dan Gaul, Zaleski, David and Crystal Gaul, of Crestline and his nieces Traci & Dave Smith, of Spring Valley, California, and Kristi and Tom Buongervino, Newberry Park, California.

He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine, his twin brother Larry, his brothers Richard Rheinbolt, Virgil Rheinbolt, Raymond Rheinbolt, Clifford Rheinbolt, Junior Allen Rheinbolt and Duane “Red” Rheinbolt, and his sister Roselene Rheinbolt.

Friends may call Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor David Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline.
