CiCi’s Pizza, home of the custom pizza buffet, will reopen its Mansfield restaurant on Monday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. To celebrate the opening, the restaurant will host a “Go Orange” fundraiser for No Kid Hungry next month.
The 3,925-square-foot restaurant at 2156 Walker Lake Road reopens after eight months under new ownership and management. New owner Ben Johnson has been part of the CiCi’s Pizza family for five years and this will be his second CiCi’s location. The restaurant will bring 35 jobs to the local area.
“We have many loyal guests in Mansfield who have been hoping CiCi’s would return,” said Johnson. “We look forward to bringing back CiCi’s family-friendly environment, great food and outstanding value to this community and invite our neighbors to help us support No Kid Hungry on Nov. 23.”
The fundraiser for No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America, will include fun family activities and a portion of the day’s sales will go to the organization. Guests are also encouraged to show their support by wearing orange, the signature color of No Kid Hungry.
CiCi’s custom pizza buffet features nearly 30 different pizzas plus pasta, salad, soup and oven-baked desserts, regularly priced at $5.59 for an adult buffet and $2.99 for a kid’s buffet. Every CiCi’s restaurant makes each pizza by hand, using freshly prepared and stretched dough, sauce made in small batches with a special blend of herbs and seasonings, freshly grated cheese and crisp vegetables. All pizzas are also available to go and large (15 inch), one-topping carryout pizzas are regularly priced at $5.99. Guests can now also take the buffet home with CiCi’s Buffet on the Go, which includes five slices of pizza, two breadsticks or desserts and a 16 ounce drink for just $5.
Hours of operation for dine-in and carryout are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
