BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Police Department handled the following calls on Thursday, May 18.

6:47 a.m. A domestic dispute over a phone in the 200 block of W Mansfield St. was mediated.

6:56 a.m. A report of property in an alley in the 1000 block of S Walnut St was unfounded.

7:27 a.m. Officers warned a juvenile about placing objects on the railroad tracks in the area of Jones and Woodlawn.

7:31 a.m. David M Charlton, 39, was arrested in the 700 block of UDF on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

8:29 a.m. A report of an attempted break-in to a vehicle in the 500 block of E Mansfield St was investigated.

10:22 a.m. Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigating a report of a suspicious person and disabled vehicle in the 2000 block of E Mansfield St.

11:26 a.m. Jacob Laub, 27, was given a court appearance date on a warrant out of Crawford County while in the 800 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

12:05 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 200 block of E. Rensselaer St.

3:03 p.m. A report of a suspicious person casing cars near East Pointe was investigated in the 100 block of Stetzer Rd.

3:28 p.m. A report of a possible sexual abuse was taken and is under investigation.

3:47 p.m. A driver’s license found on High St was returned to the owner.

3:55 p.m. A report of a possible assault was investigated in the 100 block of N. Spring St. One of the parties was accused of breaking a car antenna and windshield wipers.

5:06 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1700 block of E. Mansfield St.

5:18 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Woodlawn and Jones Street.

5:30 p.m. A two vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Irving and Maple Street was investigated, one citation was issued and one of the vehicles was towed from the scene to Dublin.

5:45 p.m. A disturbance in the 400 block of E. Mansfield Street was unfounded.

5:53 p.m. A report of a child left alone in a vehicle at Walmart was investigated.

5:59 p.m. A private property collision by a backing vehicle striking a parked car at Heritage Circle was investigated.

6:53 p.m. A one-vehicle crash into the river at Aumiller Park was investigated.

7:43 p.m. Officers checked a residence in the 800 block of Elm Street for two missing juveniles. They were not located there at that time, but were later found at the same address. The missing juveniles were released to a parent.

8:03 p.m .Officers responded to a theft report from Kroger and that the subject had left on foot. Robert Baker, 34, was arrested on a charge of Theft after reportedly shoplifting from Kroger. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

8:29 p.m. A report of a fight in the alley behind the 600 block of E. Rensselaer Street was unfounded.

9 p.m. Officers responded with Crawford County deputies for an injury accident in front of the First Church of the Nazarene.

9:05 p.m. Lindsay Stokley, 24, was arrested on Marion Rd. near Kilbourne Dr. for OVI. She was issued a citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court or bond.

9:21 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Sandusky and Oakwood Avenue.

9:27 p.m. A false alarm at Ley’s Jewelry was investigated.

9:47 p.m. A resident in the 1300 block of Hopley Avenue reported possible trespassing today while they were gone. Nothing was reported missing.

10:06 p.m. A Bucyrus resident spoke to an officer at the Police Department about a possible vehicle theft. After speaking with officers, it was determined that it may be a civil issue over a vehicle sale gone bad.

10:28 p.m. A false alarm at Ley’s Jewelry was investigated.

10:36 p.m. Two unruly juvenile boys, runaways, were found hiding at 880 Elm St. and returned to their parents and the resident of Elm St. is facing charges.

10:48 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle on Schell Avenue was investigated.

10:51 p.m. An employee at Hymiler reported the theft of 2 empty milk crates from the business.

12:33 a.m. A disturbance in the area of Spring and Mansfield Street was dispersed.

12:49 a.m. Michael Osborne, 23, was arrested in city lot 3 on two Crawford County warrants. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

3:04 a.m. Officers made a welfare check on Wilber St.
