MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Men’s Garden Club is now accepting applications for the 2017 Spangler Scholarships.

This is the 30th consecutive year scholarships have been awarded. So far 55 students have been awarded over $40,000 in scholarships since the scholarship inception in 1987.
Scholarship efforts are supported by club member donations and proceeds from the club’s May Plant Sale at Richland County Fairgrounds and sales of Jim Boyd Garden Hoes.
To qualify, all candidates must plan to attend or already be attending a technical school, college or university to pursue a career in horticulture or a related field.
