Twila D. Ewing, 79, of Galion, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield, after an extended illness.
Twila was born in Furnace Run, PA on July 13, 1935 to the late Lewis and Bertha (Bish) Anthony. She married John F. Ewing on December 17, 1960 and he survives her.
Twila was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, attending craft shows, flea markets and garage sales.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son George Ewing of Crestline, her brother and three sisters, Yvonne and Neil Storer of Frewsburg, NY, Kathryn Cowan of W. Kittanning, PA, Violet Pearl and Bill Atkins of Jamestown, NY, and Daniel Anthony of Marionville, PA.
She was preceded in death by her brothers George, John, and Robert Anthony and her sister Dorothy Rupert.
Friends may call Saturday, March 7 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 with Pastor Derrick Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
