Carolyn A. (Reed) Reynolds, 75, of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015, following a brief illness.
Carolyn was born on October 25, 1939, in Mansfield, to John E. and Freda (Harper) Reed. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and shopping. Carolyn loved her family and also loved her furry friends, including her five Chihuahua’s, Pepper, Tinker, Daisy, Gizmo, and Chi Chi.
She is survived by two children, Freda Rudolf and Larry Lee Reynolds, both of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Rachel Rhodes-Young, Bryan Christopher Emrath, and Devon Nicole Emrath; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Ann Grace Emrath, Makiah Coffer, and Mason Coffer; one brother-in-law, Richard Reynolds of Mansfield and one sister-in-law Pat Reed.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Lewis Reed, and one sister, Mary Paula Carney.
Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darrell Clemens officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
