New London (3-5, 3-2) at Plymouth (6-2, 3-2)

According to Drew Pasteur’s Fantastic 50 (www.fantastic50.net) the Big Red already have secured the first playoff berth in program history. Plymouth could put itself in a position to host a first-round game with a win tonight and next week against Crestview.

Plymouth’s prolific offense is triggered by quarterback Hunter Bailey, who has thrown for 1,653 yards and 21 touchdowns while completing 75 of 135 passes and rushed for 677 yards and seven touchdowns. Wideout Tyrell Edmiston is a match-up nightmare. The athletic 6-foot-5 senior has 39 catches for an area-high 1,017 yards and 18 touchdowns. The defense is led by linebacker Chance Butcher, who leads Richland County with 114 tackles. Bailey has four interceptions from his spot in the secondary.
