MANSFIELD — Richland Bank President Chris Hiner has announced three promotions.

Emily Toms has been promoted to junior branch administrator, Barbara Hershberger to assistant banking center manager and Ashley Throckmorton to administrative officer.

Emily Toms

Toms, who will support branch operations and human resources, joined the bank in September 2017 as a management associate and has been involved with United Way of Richland County’s allocations committee for the past two years. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematical statistics from Ohio Northern University and has previous experience as a data analyst. Emily and her husband Andy, and their fur baby, Colt, live in Mansfield.

Barbara Hershberger

Hershberger works at the Main Office Banking Center. She joined Richland Bank in February 2014 as a teller at the West Park Banking Center, later transferring to the Cook Road Banking Center as a teller specialist in 2016. Hershberger joined the Main Office team in 2017 as a teller specialist II. She participates in the annual Mid-Ohio Youth Mentoring Bowling fundraising event and lives in Lexington.

Ashley Throckmorton

Throckmorton works at the Main Office Banking Center. She joined the company in 2011 at affiliate, Century National Bank, where she was a teller at the New Lexington Banking Center. Later, she joined the mortgage processing department at Park National Bank as a mortgage processing supervisor. In February 2018, she joined the mortgage loan team at Richland Bank as a mortgage lender. Throckmorton has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business management from Tennessee Technological University. She is an active committee member of the Power of the Purse fundraising event for United Way of Richland County and the MAR Public Relations Committee. She and her significant other, Troy, live in Mansfield.
