BUCYRUS — Bucyrus police handled the following calls over the weekend, starting with Friday, May 19.
10:58 a.m. Officers checked on a motorist having mechanical difficulties on Hopley Ave. and a tow truck responded.
12:26 p.m. A subject was assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 700 block of S. Sandusky Ave.
12:33 p.m. A barking dog complaint in the 300 block of S. Spring St was investigated.
2:22 p.m. A report of people trespassing in the 800 block of Elm St. was made. CCSO assisted and one adult female and one adult male were arrested for burglary and transported to jail.
4:30 p.m. Officers warned a person in the 1300 block of Home Circle for soliciting without a permit.
4:42 p.m. Officers spoke to a person at the Police Department about a theft.
7:07 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Taco Bell.
7:15 p.m. A neighborhood disturbance over parking issues was investigated in the 900 block of S. Sandusky Avenue.
8:10 p.m. A complaint about a large number of juveniles unsecured in the back of a truck was investigated.
9:11 p.m. A resident in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue reported a statue and packages stolen off the porch.
9:21 p.m. An open 9-1- 1 call was investigated in the 1100 block of Monnett Street. A young child accidentally called from a disabled cell phone.
9:30 p.m. A false alarm at Cellular Central was investigated.
9:32 p.m. Officers assisted a resident in the 800 block of S. Poplar Street remove a bat from the residence.
9:40 p.m. A resident in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street reported someone knocking repeatedly on her door then running away.
9:42 p.m. Officers spoke with a resident in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue about an unruly juvenile.
10:45 p.m. A Bucyrus resident came to the Police Department to report being assaulted by someone she knows.
11:13 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint on Woodlawn Ave. and Richard Eldridge, 49, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
Saturday, May 20
1:06 a.m. A loud music complaint was investigated in the 200 block of Nauman Avenue. No noise was heard in the area.
1:29 a.m. A 9-1- 1 hang up call from Bucyrus Plaza was investigated. No one was located needing assistance.
1:41 a.m. Officers checked the welfare of a subject at Duke & Duchess.
4:38 a.m. Officers assisted Galion PD in the area of Oakwood and Prospect St. checking for a vehicle theft and hit/skip crash suspect but no one was located.
10:29 a.m. A Whetstone St. resident reported items stolen from his residence.
11:03 a.m. Officers spoke with subjects on station regarding an unruly juvenile.
12:32 p.m. A report of a speeder on Kaler Ave. was unfounded.
2:42 p.m. Four juveniles were warned against being in the Sandusky River on Gay St. near Aumiller Park.
3:01 p.m. A domestic dispute in the 200 block of E. Rensselaer St. was a verbal dispute.
3:37 p.m. The Crawford County Dog Warden was called to try to catch a dog that was being a nuisance in traffic near W. Mansfield St. and Spring St.
4:15 p.m. A report of a vehicle hitting a fire hydrant turned out to be the city crew flushing out the hydrant.
5:10 p.m. Officers attempted to return a found wallet to the owner on Wayne Ave.
5:24 p.m. Officers investigated a hang up 9-1- 1 call in the 100 block of W. Perry St. and it was a child playing with the phone.
7:42 p.m. A report of a suspicious male in the Lavina Ave. area was a subject that was yelling loudly.
7:59 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of E. Mansfield St. reported theft of her purse.
8:46 p.m. A report of loud music in the 300 block of S. Spring St. was investigated. The resident was advised of the city noise ordinance and given a warning.
9:37 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check at Indian Creek Apts.
9:40 p.m. Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle at Oakwood Cemetery.
9:42 p.m. A resident in the 300 block of E. Rensselaer St. reported the valve covers stolen off the tires of his vehicle.
9:46 p.m. A report of vehicles speeding in the 200 block Penn Ave. was investigated.
Sunday, May 21
12:03 a.m. Lisa Hurley, 38, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was given a date to appear in court and released.
12:09 a.m. A traffic warning was given in the 800 block of W. Mary St.
12:29 a.m. Officers dispersed a disturbance in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. and Robert Reidling, 50, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.
1:01 a.m. A resident in the 100 block of Wallace Ave. reported being threatened.
1:10 a.m. Officers trespassed a male from an establishment in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. for the night per their request.
1:33 a.m. Officers investigated an open line 9-1- 1 call in the 200 block of S. Spring St.
4:44 a.m. Officers spoke to a female in the area of Marion Rd. and Arch Dr. who was involved in a domestic issue at Bucyrus Plaza.
9:07 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1500 block of N Sandusky Ave.
9:08 a.m. A disturbance in the area of Bucyrus Plaza was a domestic issue.
12:29 p.m. Officers responded to a fight at Bucyrus Plaza and Healea K Walters, 21, was arrested in the area of Bucyrus Plaza and charged with domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.
12:30 p.m. Officers made a welfare check in the 900 block of E Warren St.
2:26 p.m. A disturbance at Speedway was unfounded.
4:30 p.m. A purse found in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Av. was returned to the owner.
4:32 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated at Outhwaite Reservoir.
4:43 p.m. A report of a fight in the 500 block of Plymouth St. was unfounded.
5:35 p.m. A false alarm was reported in the 500 block of S. Highland Av.
5:52 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated at Aumiller Park.
6:23 p.m. Officers spoke to an unruly juvenile in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.
6:29 p.m. A false alarm was investigated in the 500 block of W. Mansfield St.
6:32 p.m. A neighborhood dispute was investigated in the 100 block of Schell Ave.
