CALEDONIA — Shelby has outscored its opponents 90-0 over the past two weeks.

A week after speeding past Highland 48-0, the Whippets (6-0, 3-0) controlled River Valley (2-4, 1-2) on the road Friday 42-0 — extending their regular-season winning streak to 19 games.

Looking ahead to Week 7, the Whippet Athletic Complex will be the place to be for north central Ohio high school football fanatics. Shelby is set to host Clear Fork (5-1, 3-0) in a battle between Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference leaders.

On Tuesday, the Ohio High School Athletic Association released its first official computer ratings and unbeaten Shelby was atop Region 14 of Division IV. Not far behind were the Colts (5-1, 3-0) in seventh with 6.7 points.

Clear Fork thundered to a 31-7 win over Marion Harding Friday night at the Colt Corral.

But before all focus is shifted to when the Whippets and Colts clash next week, here’s who led the way for Shelby in Week 6:

Senior QB Brayden DeVito completed 16 passes for 227 yards and two TDs. On the ground, DeVito rushed for 34 yards and a three scores.

Freshman RB Luke Blevins ran for 60 yards and a TD on six attempts.

Junior WR Brady Bowman caught five passes for 80 yards and a score.

— Senior TE Carter Kessler had a pair of receptions for 65 yards and a TD.
