Performances at the main library in Mansfield are part of the summer program.

MANSFIELD — The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library invites the community to participate in the annual Summer Library Program, Adventure Begins at Your Library, from June 3 through July 27 at all nine locations, at the Bookmobile, or online at mrcpl.org.

This program encourages reading among people of all ages, decreases summer reading loss in students, and engages the community with in-person, online, and take-home activities.

This year’s adventurous program offers creative and fun opportunities for students to keep boredom at bay while maintaining their reading skills during the summer break.

Adults, teens, and children are welcome to participate in the program and potentially win amazing, age-appropriate weekly and grand prizes.

Each library location will host a variety of fun and engaging children’s performers, including Jungle Island, Mush with Noggin, Beverly Meyer, Tom Sparough, and Stevens Puppets.

The adventure begins June 3 at your Library this summer. For details on participation, prize lists, and more, visit the Library’s website at mrcpl.org/slp2024.
