MANSFIELD — The unofficial end to summer rolled east along Park Avenue West, turned left at Walnut Street, and finished at the Carrousel in downtown Mansfield on Monday morning.
Sunny skies and pleasantly mild temperatures greeted the traditional Labor Day Parade that drew a couple hundred people to the center of the city.
While there were no bands, numerous fire trucks, police cruisers and labor unions were represented, along with a a float from BibleWalk, and a spunky threesome of miniature cars via the Mansfield Shriners Club that dodged and weaved their way along the route.
