Gregory C. Rowalt, age 60 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away Monday April 22, 2024 at Legacy Nursing Home in Bucyrus following a brief illness. He was born on August 16, 1963 in Bucyrus to Charles and Catherine (McClary) Rowalt. Greg grew up in Bucyrus, graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1981. He had worked as an over the road truck driver. He loved NASCAR especially Mark Martin, football, Indy Racing, doing models and sitting on the front porch with Hazel. His proudest achievements were being a father, grandfather and a good friend to many.
He is survived by his daughter, Krisna (Andy) Rowalt; grandchildren, Blayden Rowalt, James Schrack, Kayla Schrack, Rylan Kline and Dallas Schrack; brothers, Doug Rowalt, Steve Rowalt, Brian Gifford and Charles Rowalt; sister, Sheila Rowalt; numerous nieces and nephews and his K9 companion “Hazel”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will not be any services held at this time.
The family would like to thank OhioHealth Hospice for the loving care they provided during his last few weeks, you guys are amazing. Also Legacy of Bucyrus for making sure he was comfortable.
