PLYMOUTH — The ladies of the Plymouth Area Historical Society will revisit one of the 20th century’s best decades at their “Fabulous 50’s Tea” in August.
The event on Aug. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Plymouth Area Museum will feature popular tea party delicacies served by the era’s most fashionable hostesses; music from the 50’s; and a display of 50’s memorabilia.
There will also be six raffle baskets, the themes of which are “Doggie in the Window,” “Kisses Sweeter than WINE,” “What a Chunk of Chocolate!” “Tea for Two,” “The Fabulous Fifties,” and “A 50’s Mystery Box.”
A surprise guest will also make an appearance.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for young ladies 8 to 12 years of age. No children under 8 years of age.
Reservations are required as seating is limited to only 65 guests.

Guests are encouraged (but not required) to wear their finest 50’s tea party frocks, hats and gloves.
All proceeds benefit the Plymouth Area Museum.
