SHELBY – The Ohio State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Shelby Police Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation, has completed an OVI checkpoint that occurred on Aug. 27 on State Route 39, near Taylortown Road.
The checkpoint was held from 8 to 10 p.m. During the operational hours, 532 vehicles drove through the checkpoint. One vehicle was diverted but no drivers were found to be impaired.
