Kay Young, age 86, of Fredericktown passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Pickerington.
She was born on February 19, 1936, in Fredericktown, Ohio to the late John and Zola (Watson) Algire. Kay enjoyed puzzles and word find puzzles. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown.
Kay is survived by her daughter Debbie (Wesley) Jackson; her son Ronald (Rebecca) Young; three grandchildren, Mackenzie (Martin) Stull, Madison Young, Trey (Eloise David) Hill; her brother Jay Algire; and her sister Sandra (Chris) Horn.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband Hoy Young; her son Mark Young; and her brother Joe Algire.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown from 10am-11am. A graveside service will follow, beginning at 11:30am, in Forest Cemetery with Pastor Brian Snow officiating.
