MADISON TOWNSHIP — A Cuyahoga Falls man died in a single-vehicle accident early Thursday morning, according to the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 4:11 a.m. on U.S. 30 at the intersection with U.S. 42, according to troopers.
A preliminary investigation showed Antonio Juan La’Shawn L. Cleveland, 28, was eastbound on U.S. 30, approaching the overpass for U.S. 42.
Troopers said Cleveland drove off the left side of the road, vaulted onto the southbound lanes of U.S. 42, struck the concrete lane divider and overturned into the northbound lanes of U.S. 42, where it came to rest on its top.
Cleveland, trapped inside the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene, troopers said.
Troopers said the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Madison Township Fire/EMS, and Richland County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
