SHELBY — Voters in Shelby approved a trio of property tax renewals on Tuesday, none of which will cost residents additional money.
Shelby voters approved:
— a 0.9-mill, five-year levy for the Shelby Health Department (1,197-525);
— a 0.5-mill, five-year levy for the city parks and recreation department (1,217-505);
— and a 3-mill, five-year levy for the Shelby City School District (1,514-1,227).
All results are final, unofficial vote totals from the Richland County Board of Elections.
Countywide, turnout was 19.46 percent as 15,872 of 81,564 registered voters cast ballots.

Sandusky Township (excluding City of Galion and Village of Crestline) — 1.5-mill, 5-year renewal for roads and bridges. Passed, 65-22
Lucas Local School District — 2.7 mills, 5-year renewal for emergency requirements. Passed, 408-231
Jefferson Township A — Local liquor option for Wishmaker House B&B. Passed, 373-122
