MANSFIELD — Due to emergency water main repairs the City of Mansfield Water Repair Department has shut down water service on Ohio Street from Wood Street to Sturges Avenue.
The shutdown will begin immediately. Water service is expected to be restored to the areas by the end of the work day barring any unforeseen problems.
Ohio Street from Blymyer Avenue to Sturges Avenue will also be closed during the repair. The road is set to re-open on Wednesday, Feb. 3, by the end of the work day. Construction signs will be posted at the work site. Traffic is advised to plan an alternate route to avoid possible delays. No traffic will be permitted to pass through.
