MANSFIELD – The Membrane Constellation Exhibition returns for its 11th installment, bringing together local artists, writers, and community members for an evening of visual art, spoken word, and community connection.
The exhibition will be held at La LUNA, located at 32 North Walnut Street, in the heart of Downtown Mansfield.
Originally conceived by local artists in 2017, the Membrane Constellation Exhibition Series was created as a platform for artistic expression, dialogue, and community engagement.
Over the years, the series has become a unique gathering space where artists explore themes that reflect the experiences, aspirations, and stories of the Mansfield community.
This year’s theme, “Why I Love Mansfield,” was intentionally selected to highlight the positive transformations, movements, and people shaping the community during a pivotal period of growth and change.
While public attention is often drawn toward challenges and negative narratives, this exhibition seeks to celebrate the individuals, organizations, places, and moments that inspire hope, pride, and possibility throughout Mansfield.
Featured artists include: Braxton Daniels III, Aurelio Villa Luna Diaz, Kathy Goodwin, Karyn Wade-GrayOwl, Jennifer Kime, Tammy McQuillen, Nathan Pival, Jodie Perry, Steven Stemple, Justin Williams, Gretchen Ford-Wuchich, and Neil Yoder.
In addition to the featured visual and spoken art presentations, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in an Open Mic Session, inviting community members to share their own reflections, poetry, stories, and artistic expressions inspired by the theme.
