MANSFIELD — U.S. 42, from Fox Road in Lexington to the City of Mansfield corporation limit, is experiencing single-lane closures for a resurfacing project, according to the Ohio Dept. of Transportation.
Next week, paving operations will begin as crews begin to lay new asphalt. Traffic will be maintained by periodic flagging operations as needed.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area and to seek an alternate route if possible.
For the safety of motorists and for the safety of workers, please slow down when traveling through the work zone.
The project is expected to be completed by July.
