Symptoms of coronavirus

MANSFIELD — Richland County’s five Common Pleas court judges on Tuesday afternoon issued an administrative order regarding public access to the county’s administration building/courthouse.

The order was signed by judges Steve McKinley (juvenile), Philip Mayer (probate), Heather Cockley (domestic relations), Brent Robinson (general) and Phillip Naumoff (general).

The order said no attorney, litigant and/or member of the public shall “enter or remain” in the courthouse/administrative building if any of the following apply:

— if the person has fever.

— if the person exhibits all three of these symptoms — respiratory issues (chronic cough), sore throat and shortness of breath.

— if the person has traveled out of the country within the last 14 days.

— if the person has been in contact with someone under investigation or tested positive for COVID-19.

The order said all individuals entering the courthouse/administrative building are subject to health care screening or non-invasive testing (the taking of body temperature using a touch-free thermometer).’

Individuals may be barred from admission based upon the results of that testing.

The judges also ordered that anyone in the building maintain “appropriate social distancing” of six to 10 feet where possible.
