MANSFIELD — St. Peter’s took control early and never relinquished its hold Friday night in rolling to a 65-32 Homecoming victoy over Mansfield Christian at the Franciscan Activity Center.
The Spartans used a 14-0 blitz in the first period to fuel a 15-9 lead at the quarter stop, and stretched their advantage to 26-12 at halftime. Coach Joe Jakubick’s team moved on top 48-20 through three periods before coasting home.
Shawn Perkins-Harris, Jonah Ramey and Eli Gurski all reached double figures to help St. Peter’s improve to 3-7 overall. The Flames fell to 0-7 overall.
The Spartans are back in action tonight at Plymouth.
Mansfield Christian travels to Lucas on Monday night.,
