MANSFIELD — Three local advertising agencies have teamed up to hold a two-hour workshop for local business owners at downtown Mansfield’s co-working facility.
Source Brand Solutions, Vinyl Marketing, and Graziani Multimedia have organized Stories that Sell, a Content Marketing Workshop that will kick off at 7 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22 inside Idea Works, 40 W. 4th St.
“This happens to be the time of year when many companies are still planning and beginning to execute on their growth strategies and tactics,” said Source Brand Solutions director, Jack Windsor. “So to me, the most powerful way to help someone is to give them an experience, and this workshop is designed to do just that.”
The workshop will explore techniques to create effective marketing content and help business owners learn to tell stories about businesses in effective ways.
“The way it’s set up, everyone will spend a good portion of the time thinking about who they are, who their customers are and why they deserve to do business together,” Windsor said.
In his job, he often hears that digital advertising is confusing, and that it doesn’t work. The first is true, he said, but the second isn’t.
“Marketing and advertising can be a money pit, but done the right way, it can be the engine that drives growth within your organization,” Windsor said.
“The stories we tell ultimately become our reality, and there are frameworks and methodologies and digital platforms to help you to hone your story, to make it compelling and to reach people who you want to do business with.”
Last year, Idea Works hosted a workshop, called Donuts & Digital Marketing workshop, but this year’s event, Windsor explained, will be even more “laser-focused” on what businesses’ immediate needs.
Attendees should leave with connections to industry leaders and practical, actionable tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately.
“We want to help companies eliminate the guess work to accelerate,” Windsor said. “People have the ability to generate more influence for their company or their cause than they’ve ever had in the history of the world, but it’s really confusing. And so, we are absolutely committed to helping our customers succeed because we recognize that when businesses are successful, communities are better and we have solutions that can help businesses be successful and this is one of them.”
