MANSFIELD – The Columbus division of Kroger has announced a partnership with Instacart to offer grocery delivery services to customers in Mansfield.
Stores associated with the Instacart partnership include Kroger locations at 1060 Ashland Road, 1240 Park Avenue and 1500 Lexington Avenue.
“As part of Restock Kroger, we are investing in redefining our customers’ grocery shopping experience by bringing online and offline seamlessly together,” said Dan De La Rosa, Kroger Columbus division president in a press release. “Having grown our digital sales in 2017 by 90 percent, we continue to accelerate our digital roadmap in 2018 to make shopping with Kroger simpler and more personalized.”
Through Instacart, shoppers can have their groceries delivered within an hour, or they can choose a later time.
The cost of delivery depends of the size of the order and the time of delivery. The quickest option (within an hour) costs more than other times. All orders must be $10 or more.
Customers can also sign up for an annual membership for $149.
Items available include groceries, health and beauty products, lifestyle products and more.
Kroger Columbus now offers delivery from over 60 stores across central Ohio, and it offers 52 curbside pickup locations with plans to add 45 new locations in 2018.
“Kroger’s new Instacart partnership provides us with the opportunity to offer our customers delivery and when you combine this service with our successful curbside program, it will help us accelerate our e-commerce reach significantly,” De La Rosa said in a press release.
Kroger Columbus operates retail food stores in Central and Southern Ohio, Toledo and West Virginia.
