BUCYRUS — A Bucyrus teen will be charged in Juvenile Court after a Sunday morning crash on Friendhsip Bridge at Aumiller Park, according to a Bucyrus Police report.
Police say officers responded at approximately 2:30 a.m. to a report of a vehicle stuck on Friendship Bridge at the park. A 16-year-old driver crashed a 2007 Pontiac onto the South side approach to the footbridge over the Sandusky River.
The driver was northbound on Treatment Plant Drive reportedly seeking an adrenaline rush, accelerated rapidly and was unaware of surroundings and had to swerve and brake suddenly due to the end of the road, and lost control trying to avoid large stones limited vehicle traffic around the bridge, the report stated.
The driver was uninjured, retrieved by a parent and will be charged in juvenile court with Willful and Wanton disregard for safety, Failure to control, curfew and possibly criminal damaging. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

3:06 p.m. A report of an intoxicated male was checked in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Av. The man was trespassed from the property and taken to the hospital because of tripping and falling.
3:18 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 900 block of Sherman St.
3:33 p.m. A parking complaint about overtime parking was investigated in the 400 block of W. Warren St. One of the vehicles was issued a parking ticket.
3:44 p.m. A report of a hit skip accident was made in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St.
4:38 p.m. A report of a suspicious person was made in the 100 block of Plymouth St. The subject was stopped in the area using a phone.
5:07 p.m. Officers assisted Life Support in the 100 block of S. Spring St.
5:04 p.m. Officers checked a parking complaint in the area of Woodlawn and Failor St. The vehicle was moved.
5:30 p.m. Officers spoke to a person on station about a domestic issue.
6:04 p.m. Officers spoke to a person on station about a landlord/tenant dispute.

7:09 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Spring and Center St.
7:39 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a juvenile assaulting another juvenile on W. Irving St. A thirteen-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested in the 300 block of W. Irving on charges of assault, obstruction and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Marion Detention Center until a court appearance.
7:44 p.m. Officers spoke to a parent on station about an unruly juvenile.
8:29 p.m. A false alarm was investigated in the 1100 block of Isaac Beal Rd.
8:48 p.m. A report of a dog barking was made in the area of Beal Av.
9:02 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of Aumiller Park. A limb had fallen at the side of the road.
9:12 p.m. A report of an open building was made on Short St. and the building was checked and was fine.
9:16 p.m. A report of a subject possibly carrying a weapon was reported in the 100 block of S. Sandusky. The subject was not located.
9:36 p.m. A domestic dispute was investigated in the area of Rogers and Oakwood Av.
10:16 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated.

8:03 a.m. Officers made contact with a Marion woman after it was report that she illegally dumped garbage at the Cruise-in Car Wash, 1715 S. Sandusky Ave.
9:03 a.m. Officers spoke to a couple in the 200 block of S. Lane St. after a report they were arguing.
9:41 a.m. Officers assisted in the 600 block of Woodlawn Ave. regarding a water leak.
11:01 a.m. Officers assisted locating a 9yr old boy missing from the 700 block of S. East. His father found him upon officer’s arrival.

8:19 p.m. Officers responded for an intoxicated pedestrian that had fallen. Cathy Dible, 61, was arrested in the 900 block of Marion Rd. on charges of disorderly conduct. She was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.
8:40 p.m. A traffic stop was made in the area of S. Spring St. and W. Rensselaer St. Daniel McQuade, 35, was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for driving under suspension.
9:33 p.m. A female reported being harassed. The incident is under investigation.
9:35 p.m. A possible trespassing in the 700 block of W. Perry St. was investigated.

8:40 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance at Tim Horton’s and located the suspect involved on S. Lane St. A 29yr old Bucyrus resident was served a summons for Aggravated Menacing after threatening employees of Tim Horton’s and breaking items in the restaurant.
10:11 a.m. A resident in the 800 block of Rogers St. reported a garbage can stole from outside his home.
10:58 a.m. A false alarm was received in the 1000 block of E. Mansfield St.
11:20 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Plymouth St. A car was blocking an alley and was towed from the area.
11:29 a.m. Officers investigated a report of shoplift from Walmart. The juvenile was spoken to and will be charged.
1:08 p.m. The owner of Bucyrus Auto Laundry, 1803 E. Mansfield St. reported someone illegally dumping trash.
