Anna K. Wilging, 94, of Mansfield passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at her home.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1923 in Bertolshofen, Germany.
Anna grew up in Germany. She lived a very simple life here in Mansfield with her husband until his passing. She was a very generous person and loved to take care of others.
She is survived by her sister, Xaveria Czap; niece, Lilia Obrath; great nephew, Peter (Celeste) Asmar; great-great niece, Olivia Asmar; and two special friends, Linda Otto and Elizabeth Slack. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wilging; brother Mattias Osterried, sister, Genovefa Pfaller, and nephew, Karl Obrath.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
