BUCYRUS — A Bucyrus Police officer was treated and released from Bucyrus Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on Friday at approximately 5:56 p.m.

According to a Bucyrus Police report, the officer was investigating a previous hit-skip accident in the 500 block of South Walnut Street. While conducting his probe, the officer on the scene was struck by a passing southbound vehicle, which then fled the scene.

The officer reported the female driver has a vehicle with possible right outside mirror damage. The car is reported to be a blue, four-door.

10:34 a.m. A subject came on station to speak with an officer regarding a prior case.

10:37 a.m. Officers assisted Life Support in the 600 block of Kaler Ave.

11:15 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 700 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

11:38 a.m. An E. Rensselaer St. resident reported their apartment broken into sometime this morning.

11:55 a.m. Kain Homan, 19, was arrested in the 300 block of Short St and charged with domestic violence. He was transported to Crawford County Municipal Court for a hearing.

12:38 p.m. An accident report was taken in the 1000 block of Wingert St.

2:07 p.m. Officers took a hit-skip accident report in the 200 block of Nauman Ave.

3:59 p.m. Officers spoke with a resident about a dispute involving the Post Office at the Police Department.

4:19 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 200 block of Euclid Avenue.

5:02 p.m. A syringe found in the parking lot at United Bank was retrieved and disposed of by officers.

5:35 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street was unfounded.

7:22 p.m. An accident in the 500 block of S. Poplar Street was a parked car contacted by a passing vehicle.

8:44 p.m. Officers spoke to a Bucyrus resident at the Police Department about someone possibly hacking her computer.

9:36 p.m. Officers checked the area of Walnut and Mansfield Street after receiving a report of someone throwing a bottle out the window at kids walking in the area.

11:36 p.m. Officers assisted New Washington Police Dept. at the Bucyrus Community Hospital.

Saturday, Nov. 18

12:54am A report of a possible noise disturbance in the 200 block of Dudley St. was unfounded.

2:40 a.m. Officers investigated a 9-1- 1 hang up call in the 500 block of S. Spring St.

5:37 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Heritage Circle. A 17-year-old male is accused of cutting his step-father’s arm. The 17-year-old old has not been located at this time for questioning. The victim was treated and released at the Bucyrus ER.

7:05 a.m. Officers searched the 300 block of S. Walnut for a wanted subject. They were unable to locate the man.

9:36 a.m. Officers spoke to a woman at the Police Department about credit card fraud.

10:44 a.m. Officers investigated a report of an injury accident at Sandusky and Charles St. One driver was issued a citation. The injuries were non-life threatening.

2:09 p.m. An income tax summons was served at the Police Department.

3:04 p.m. Officers attempted to deliver a message for Norwalk OSP.

3:29 p.m. A report of telephone harassment was reported at the Police Department.

3:36 p.m. Officers investigated a 911 open line in the 1500 block of Fairview Ave.

3:53 p.m. Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the area of Bucyrus Plaza.

4:05 p.m. A report of a vehicle stranded in high water on N. Sandusky Ave. was unfounded.

4:06 p.m. Officers checked a traffic complaint in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

4:09 p.m. A disturbance in the 500 block of Wedgewood Ct. was a residential lock out.

4:18 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of Mansfield and E. Mary St.

4:23 p.m. A 911 open line call was investigated in the 200 block of E. Mary St.

4:25 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist stranded in high water on Hopley and Lucas St.

5:02 p.m. Officers arrested a 17-year-old Bucyrus boy in the 100 block of Heritage Cr. on domestic-violence charges from an incident earlier in the day. He was transported to Juvenile detention to be held for a hearing in Juvenile Court.

5:12 p.m. A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of N. Sandusky and Plymouth St.

8:01 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 1600 block of Marion Rd.

8:10 p.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies on S. Sandusky Av. attempting to locate a vehicle driving recklessly north on SR 98 and the suspect vehicle was stopped for CCSO at S. Sandusky Ave. near Beal Ave.

8:27 p.m. Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

2:20 a.m. Jeboriah White, 30, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. He was taken to the Crawford Justice Center to be held.

2:43 a.m. A resident in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. reported his shed broken into.

2:49 a.m. A report of patrons refusing to leave the Horseshoe Bar was resolved by subjects leaving.

5:14 a.m. A report of high water in the N. Lane St. area was investigated.

4:11 p.m. A report of an erratic driver was made in the area of Mary and Walnut St.

4:25 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lock out in the 300 block of E. Oakwood St.

4:42 p.m. One income tax summons was served in the 500 block of S. Spring St.

4:45 p.m. Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the 500 block of S. Spring St.

4:45 p.m. A traffic stop was made for an equipment violation and a citation was issued. Andy Case, 40, was arrested in the 800 block of S. Spring St. on charges of criminal trespass from a previous incident.

5:18 p.m. Three income tax summons were served in the 10 block of Heritage Circle.

5:22 p.m. Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

5:24 p.m. A 14-year- old boy was reported missing from the 500 block of E. Mansfield St. He returned home a short time later.

5:36 p.m. One income tax summons was served in the 500 block of E. Warren St.

5:41 p.m. One income tax summons was served in the 500 block of Woodlawn Av.

5:47 p.m. Officers attempted to serve income tax summons in the 500 block of Failor St.

6:28 p.m. A non-injury crash was investigated in the area of Sandusky and Charles St.

6:42 p.m. A non-injury crash between a car and truck was investigated in the area of Sandusky and Perry St. and a citation was issued.

7:31 p.m. Three income tax summons were served in the 600 block of S. Walnut St.

7:34 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 400 block of E. Irving St.

7:53 p.m. One income tax summons was served in the 500 block of S. Spring St.

11:46 p.m. Officers assisted OSP locate a subject in town.

Monday, Nov. 20

Midnight: Two income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

1:57 a.m. Officers checked on a man lying on the side of the road on Marion Road. He was found to have a possible broken leg from falling and EMS was contacted to assist him.
