Robert Filter II, 55, of Mansfield, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Born Aug. 16, 1961 in Mansfield, he was the son of Robert and ZoAnn (Matson) Filter.
Bob loved the outdoors, NASCAR, playing cards and hanging out with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by a sister, Pamela Chelski; a brother, Tom (Donna) Filter; step-mother, Lindy Filter; step-brothers, Joseph Taylor and Dennis (Crystal) Vanoman; nieces, Denise (Chad) Henthorn, DeAnna Lewis and David Fultz, Devida Lewis, Amber Filter; nephews, Josh (Donna) Filter, Andrew Filter and Madison Turner and Cody T. Filter; several step-nieces and step-nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step brother, Johnnie Ray Taylor and a step-nephew, Bradley Taylor.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
