MaryAnne “Mame” Voytko, 83, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
She was born July 31, 1933, daughter of the late George and Julia Ellish.
MaryAnne was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School and a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Parish, Mansfield, Ohio, where over the years she was involved in many activities. But her pride and joy was in making the baptismal garments for the infants and RCIA candidates.
MaryAnne was employed at the Rehabilitation Center of North Central Ohio for 17 years, retiring in 1996. She loved her family to infinity, and enjoyed all their family vacations, and especially getting into the car with her soul mate, Ed, and driving to wherever that road took them. Above all, MaryAnne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandma (Gigi), who will be missed dearly.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Edward, their children, Julianne (Steven) Wolf, of Cleveland, Tennessee, Suzie (Keith) Bacin, of Lexington, Ohio, Eddie (Robin) Voytko, of Lucas, Ohio. Their grandchildren; Adrianne (Brad) Crimmins, Shelby (Seth) Meek, Eric Wolf, Ryan McConnell, Courtney (Drew) Lessick, Kelsey (Jeremy) Rider, Jordan (Liz) Voytko, and Andre Voytko. Great grandchildren; Garrett Crimmins, Julia Grace Crimmins, Wyatt Crimmins, Liam Rider, and Conway Meek. Her sister Margie (Glenn) Sutter, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and brother George (Pat) Ellish, of Mansfield, Ohio. Sisters-in-law; Margie Voytko and Vern Misalko, of Youngstown, Ohio, also many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Sties, and granddaughter Carrie (Wolf) McConnell.
Friends will be received at the Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m with a vigil prayer service at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Miller officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
