Jerry Lee Niswander, 85, of Lucas, passed away following a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Jerry was born on June 8, 1932, in Findlay, Ohio, to Roy and Hildreth (Miller) Niswander. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He loved his tractor and his farm. He worked for 29½ years at Mansfield Tire, then retired from MANCI.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Thompson) Niswander; four children, Sharon (Dale) Garn, Kathleen (Brad) Miller, Diane (Steve) Swank, and Jerry (Missy) Niswander; one brother, Darrell Niswander; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Evelyn Greer; and three brothers, Donald, Kent, and Douglas Niswander.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 10 a.m. to noon at Grace Bible Church, 67 W. Main St., Lucas, Ohio. Funeral service will be at noon at the church with their son, Pastor Jerry Niswander officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
