MANSFIELD — The Richland Academy is excited to announce its upcoming performance schedule for the month of May.
Students from all around Richland and surrounding counties participate in programming throughout the year in various forms of dance and or music.
See the shows on Friday, May 5, at 6 p.m. or Saturday, May 6, at 3 p.m. at the Renaissance Theater for “A Night at the Movies” — Presented by Richland Bank. This year’s performance will feature our dancers ages 6 and over performing pieces in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Modern, and five emotional, farewell solos for each graduating senior.
Lauren Beard and Willa Marks are graduating from Ontario High School, Jillian Cordial and Star Henthorn are graduating from Lexington High School and Schuyler Kunkel is a homeschool student taking classes at Ashland University.
Adult tickets are $15, and Student/Senior/Veteran tickets are $10. Tickets are available online at richlandacademy.com and will also be available for purchase at the door.
Dancers ages 3 to 5 are set to take the stage in their performance: “If You’re Happy and You Know It-Dance!” on Saturday, May 13, at 6 p.m. at Mansfield Senior High School. This mini dance recital features an overload of cuteness that is sure to trigger a smile.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at Richland Academy for our May Spring Music Recital. This performance is free and open to the public. This is a great opportunity to discover what our talented students have been working on all year.
Performances range in skill level from beginner to advanced in a variety of instruments including voice, piano, and violin, to name a few. This recital will also feature a special performance by the Richland Academy Women’s Chorus, directed by Marianne Cooper, and funded by the Women’s Fund of the Richland County Foundation.
