Roy A. Boggs, 61, of Lexington, Ohio, died suddenly on April 8, 2017.
He was surrounded by his family and friends whom he loved dearly.
Roy was born Oct. 1, 1955, in Mansfield, Ohio, and was a lifelong area resident. He worked at United Telephone, owned and operated his own business Advanced Network Services, worked at Carter Electric, and was working at Ace Electrical prior to his passing.
He was passionate about helping other people and being involved in Christian ministries. One of his favorite quotes was: “Your actions whether good or bad affects others.” Some of his other hobbies were teaching, training others, working on computers, technology, and photography.
There was nothing he wasn’t able to do when he set his mind to it. It is fitting he passed away during Easter week as this was one of his favorite holidays because of Jesus’ resurrection.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Boggs, and his beloved mother and father-in-law Robert and Alice Witzky. His sister and brother-in-law Sue and Bill Tepe, his sister and brother-in-law Mary Ellen and Joe Streib, his brother and sister-in-law Andy and Vicky Boggs, his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Gary Stewart, and his sister and brother-in-law Versa and Gary Westbrook. His kids, Ben and Mandy Boggs, Sarah and Chris Remy and granddaughter Hannah Remy, Rachel and Morris Bruce and grandchildren Lukas and Ellie Bruce, and Jesse Boggs. He is also survived by in-laws whom he thought of as his siblings, Jerry and Darlene Witzky, Keith and Tracy Witzky, Tony and Cheryl Grega, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Ruth Boggs.
