Kathleen Melissa Doup Voshall passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was 61.
She was born July 25, 1955 to parents George W. & Marjorie M. (Lane) Doup in Mount Vernon. Kathy graduated from Clear Fork High School with the class of 1973.
On Oct. 12, 2007, she married Michael Voshall.
Kathy worked at Gorman Rupp in many different capacities, including secretary and assembler, where she worked for over 39 years until retiring.
In younger years, she enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed talking on the phone, watching her family at all of their sporting events and of course her cats Buddy and Buster. She will be remembered for saying what was on her mind but Aunt Kat (as the nieces and nephews called her) had a knack for spoiling her nieces and nephews because she always strived to be the favorite aunt.
She was family centered and loved her family above all else.
She is survived by husband Michael Voshall; sister Barbara (Robert) Mortimer, Susan (Wesley) Mortimer and Cheryl (Brian) Wade; brother Thomas Doup; step-son Michael Malott; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
