Marsha Joy Palmer, 66, of Ontario passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her home.

Marsha was born July 14, 1950 in Mansfield to late Paul W. and Ruth (Bates) Palmer.

Marsha was a 1968 graduate of Ontario High School. She was employed for 20 years at Tappan, and was also employed at Roadhouse, Chi-Chi’s, Gandee Hearing Aid and by Attorney Bemiller.

Marsha was formerly a member of the Ontario Lions and volunteered with the America Cancer Society and Board of Elections. Marsha was a generous lady who was always full of joy and was friendly to everyone. She was a pet lover, her pets were near and dear to her heart. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and euchre.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wes (Karen) Hampton, of Crestline, and Chris (Gina Deibel) Hampton, of Ontario; four granddaughters, Sunshine and Zoey Hampton, both of Ontario, Amanda (Stephen) Glosser, of Lexington, and Sherry (Joseph) Frontz, of Bloomville, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Ashton, JoJo and Emmy; two aunts, Wilma Palmer, of Ontario, and Sandra (Jim) Bush, of Dunedin, Florida; numerous cousins and other relatives; and her dog, Trooper.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Paul Walters will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
