MANSFIELD — Mayor Tim Theaker has announced that the City of Mansfield has free compost available.

Anyone interested in compost must stop into the complex office at 480 Park Avenue East to get a load ticket. Any questions should be directed to the Service Complex during regular hours, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 419-755-9803.

Compost will be limited to one truck load per day for residents of the city.

The city will begin giving away compost starting April 3 at the service complex located at 480 Park Avenue East. The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. through 11 a.m. and noon through 3 p.m.

Starting May 1 compost will be distributed by appointment only.
