Lawanna C. “Lou” Laser, 88, of Glenmont, died Thursday morning, March 23, 2017 in LifeCare Hospice, Wooster after a 10-day illness.

Mrs. Laser was born April 1, 1928 in Shelby, the daughter of the late Lloyd Clinton and Florence Belle (Moon) Brown. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, and enjoyed her many house plants and her needle work.

She is survived by one son, Samuel A. (Linda) Laser, of Danville; one daughter, Molly L. Metcalf, of Danville; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Cutlip, of Polk and Rose Smalley, of Wooster. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Anna Mae Powell, two brothers, Milton and Charles Brown, and three sisters, Gladys Brown, Evelyn Ross and Betty Smail.

Lou requested no services or calling hours.
