BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Police had the following calls during Thursday’s rounds:
Thursday, March 23
8:13 a.m. Two income tax summons were served at the Police Department.
9:34 a.m. A false alarm was received from the 1100 block of Victoria Dr.
11:51 a.m. Officers took an accident report in the area of Sandusky and Marion Rd.
1:01 p.m. Two income tax summons were served at the Police Department.
1:07 p.m. Officers checked on an elderly gentleman in the 800 block of E Rensselaer St.
1:11 p.m. A subject came on station to report a theft.
1:38 p.m. A parking citation was issued for 48 hour violation in the 400 block of W Warren St.
2:42 p.m. A report of a suspicious male in the area of Clark and Warren Sts was investigated. The male subject was gone upon officer’s arrival.
3:16 p.m. A report of a hit-skip accident in the Southern Lights parking lot was investigated.
3:37 p.m. Officers checked on a vehicle on the side of the road in the area of Marion and Southern Avenue. The driver had just pulled over to take a phone call.
3:58 p.m. A written traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street.
4:31 p.m. A false alarm at the Crawford Fair Board Office was investigated.
4:34 p.m. A disturbance in the 100 block of Heritage Circle was investigated.
4:37 p.m. A report of a large group getting ready to fight in the 200 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated.
4:45 p.m. Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of Emerson Street.
4:53 p.m. A report of an assault in the 200 block of S. East Street was investigated. It was two juveniles play wrestling.
5:10 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at McDonalds.
5:28 p.m. Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in an empty lot in the area of Penn and Auto Avenue.
6:26 p.m. Officers checked on a report of a suspicious person in the area of Southern and Whetstone.
8:24 p.m. An elderly female who became confused and wandered away from her home was located by officers and transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital by EMS personnel.
10:21 p.m. A report of kids skateboarding in the area of Walnut and Hopley Avenue was investigated.
11:34 p.m. A report of a barking dog in the 300 block of Hill St. was investigated. Officers checked the area and heard no barking dogs.
Friday, March 24
12:01 a.m. Officers assisted a female in the 400 block of N. Sandusky Ave.
12:12 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave.
