Frederick “Fritz” R. Theiss, 59, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017.
He was born March 14, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio.
Fritz was employed as a car dealer most of his adult life. He actively sought out classic cars and muscle cars to purchase and sell. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Fritz was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, and Mansfield Liederkranz.
He is survived by his soul mate, Lori Waite, of Mansfield; parents, Fred and Beth (Arter) Theiss, of Winter Haven, Florida; sons, Jonathan Theiss, of Grinnell, Iowa, and Viktor Theiss, of Mansfield; step children, Stephanie (Joe) Beck and Steven (Rachel) Waite; step grandchildren, Brooksten, Brody, Braylen and Layla; sisters, Annie (JJ) Jebins, of Winter Haven, Florida, and Jeannie Sherer, of Shelby, Ohio; and lifelong friend, Willis (Sherry) Prout.
A party celebrating Fritz’s life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mansfield Liederkranz ballroom. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
