BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Police Department handled a busy weekend with reports of domestic violence, theft and drug offenses.

The following police calls took place from March 17-19,

Friday, March 17

8:57 a.m. A female came on station to report being harassed by messages.

9:26 a.m. Officers spoke with a subject in the 1500 block of Isaac Beal Rd. about harassing phone calls.

12:12 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the Stetzer Rd. area was a disabled vehicle with mechanical issues.

12:16 p.m. An overtime parking complaint was checked in the 300 block of Wallace Ave.

12:46 p.m. Officers investigated a report of an unruly juvenile in the 600 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

1:12 p.m. A motorist was given a warning for RR crossing violation in the 100 block of N Sandusky Ave.

1:22 p.m. Officers took a report of a vehicle driving through the parking lot chain at Daily Scoop, 201 N Sandusky Ave.

2:29 p.m. A traffic citation was issued in the area of Beal and Isaac Beal Road.

2:59 p.m. A parking complaint at Walmart was unfounded.

3:20 p.m. Three income tax summons were served at the Police Department.

4:04 p.m. A traffic citation was issued in the area of Lawn and Sandusky Avenue.

5:15 p.m. Officers responded with EMS personnel to a medical emergency in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

5:51 p.m. Officers investigated a 9-1-1 hang up call from the 800 block of Faustina Avenue, and there was not an emergency.

5:55 p.m. Officers assisted OSP checking a report of an erratic, speeding vehicle coming into town on SR 98. The vehicle did not enter town.

7:55 p.m. A disturbance in the 700 block of Ann Street was investigated and resolved when one of the parties left the area.

8:39 p.m. A disturbance in the area of Iron and Charles Street was verbal domestic dispute.

8:50 p.m. A report of an erratic driver in the area of E. Mansfield and Whetstone Street was investigated.

9:36 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 300 block of Iron St. James Netters, 35, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. He was also issued one income tax summons.

10:22 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Suburban Lanes.

10:33 p.m. A welfare check was made.

10:43 p.m. Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Aumiller Park Dr.

11:39 p.m. A traffic warning was given in the Tiffin St. area.

Saturday, March 18, 2017

12:01 a.m. Officer checked S. Walnut St. for a reported erratic driver.

12:14 a.m. Yvonne Ramage, 25, was located in the 100 block of S. Poplar St. and arrested on two warrants out of Crawford County. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

12:58 a.m. A traffic stop was made on Plymouth St. in the 200 block and a traffic warning was issued. Tyler Eber, 25, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released with a court date. Jared Deskins, 22, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released with a court date.

1:01.a.m. A report of people being loud in the 200 block of Heritage Circle was investigated.

1:29 a.m. Officers conducted a walkthrough at an establishment near the square and all was calm.

2:14 a.m. Officer made a traffic stop on S. Sandusky Ave. near Shell Ave. Dalton Hoover, 20, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and underage consumption. A passenger, Amber Mullins, 19, was arrested for underage consumption.

2:23 a.m. A traffic warning was given on Washington Square.

2:59 a.m. A resident at Bucyrus Plaza reported receiving threatening messages.

3:12 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Heritage Circle. Subjects causing trouble had left the area.

5:07 a.m. Officers delivered a message for Ontario Police Dept.

6:06 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of Iron St. It was a false alarm by unknown cause.

7:29 a.m. Officers assisted with a standby in the 200 block of W. Charles St.

10:00 a.m. Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 300 block of E. Charles St. with a possible overdose. The subject was treated at Bucyrus hospital.

10:02 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1200 block of Monnett St.

2:59 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Cullen Avenue was investigated.

3:03 p.m. An employee in the 1900 block of Whetstone St. reported employees receiving multiple harassing phone calls. Officers are investigating.

4:33 p.m. Officer checked for reported suspicious activity. Two juveniles were warned for trespassing at a property in the 100 block of Iron Street. They advised that they had been looking for a puppy that was loose.

6:11 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Walmart.

7:09 p.m. A Bucyrus resident brought her son to the Police Department to report being assaulted by someone known to him the previous day in the 1500 block of E. Southern Ave.

7:17 p.m. Officer checked a complaint of a dog barking in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. and all was quiet.

7:22 p.m. A false alarm by unknown cause was investigated in the 500 block of Wedgewood Court.

7:32pm A disturbance in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street was a civil dispute regarding $5.

7:46 p.m. Officers investigated a 9-1-1 hang up call from the 500 block of Rogers Street. The resident advised there had been a minor domestic dispute, but everything was fine now.

8:22 p.m. A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Drive reported kids throwing snow at her house. An 11-year-old was located and escorted to a nearby home to Mom.

8:42 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the 1000 block of E. Beal Avenue.

8:46 p.m. A possible disturbance in the 800 block of E. Rensselaer Street was investigated. There were no problems located in the area.

9:12 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle at Holy Trinity Cemetery was investigated.

10:07 p.m. A noise disturbance in the area of Earl and Milo Street was investigated.

10:10 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Irving and Monnett Street was checked and the vehicle was gone from the area.

Sunday March 19, 2017

12:16 a.m. Officers investigated a motorist for possible driving under the influence. A vehicle was stopped on N. Sandusky Ave. at Galen St. and the driver was arrested for OVI.

1:31 a.m. A report of a non-injury crash was investigated in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. The driver, a 29-year-old Bucyrus woman was arrested for driving under the influence.

1:53 a.m. Officers are investigating a report of a man, 37, and a woman, 25, both overdosing in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave. Both subjects were treated at the hospital.

6:46 a.m. Officers assisted with a civil standby in the 400 block of W. Rensselaer St.

7:15 a.m. Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 100 block of Franklin St.

9:07 a.m. Officers are investigating a report of a 32-year-old Bucyrus man overdosing in the 200 block of Emerson St. The subject was treated at the hospital.

10:09 a.m. An alarm was received from Los Arrieros, 1690 Marion Rd. and it was a false alarm caused by human error.

11:48 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a stolen TV from the Knights Inn, 1515 N. Sandusky Ave. The suspect was located and arrested.

1:48 p.m. Four income tax summons were served in the 400 block of W. Rensselaer St.

2:56 p.m. A false alarm was received in the 100 block of S. Poplar St. It was human error subjects were using the building.

3:59 p.m. A report of a loose dog in the 1700 block of Marion Road was investigated. Officers spoke with the owner and the dog had pulled it’s chain out of the ground.

4:22 p.m. Traffic stop was made in the area of Marion Rd. and Allen Ave. Lloyd Weaver, 29, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and released and a traffic citation was issued.

4:29 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. Robert Fisher, 30, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

5:01 p.m. An alarm was investigated in the 200 block of W. Mary St. and it was a false alarm caused by human error.

5:13 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at CVS.

5:16 p.m. A bag found in a yard in the 1400 block of S. Sandusky Avenue was brought to the Police Department for safe keeping.

5:21 p.m. An overtime parking complaint in the 300 block of Wallace Avenue was investigated.

5:25 p.m. Officer assisted Shelby PD delivering a message, and the subject contacted was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

6:08 p.m. Officers investigated a 9-1-1 open line from the 100 block of Heritage Circle. A child had gotten ahold of the phone, and there was no emergency.

7:04 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Plymouth Street reported people trespassing in his yard.

7:14 p.m. A customer at Circle K reported being harassed by another subject while in the parking lot. It was a verbal dispute and neither party wanted to pursue the matter.

7:54 p.m. A report of a suspicious person possibly looking into vehicles in the area of Maple and Plymouth Street was investigated.

8:50 p.m. A disturbance caused by a report of trespassing in the 500 block of Rogers Street was investigated. It was a landlord-tenant matter.

10:42 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Aaron’s Rentals was investigated. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

12:11 a.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Marion and Southern Avenue.

12:28 a.m. A resident in the 1200 block of Home Circle Drive reported unknown noise in the area. No one was located in the area.

1:31 a.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Sandusky and Oakwood Avenue.
