MANSFIELD: Danny L. “Spanky” Sutter passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. He was 59.
Born April 10, 1957 in Mansfield to parents Harold & Mary Jane (Edwards) Sutter. He graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1975.
Danny worked for Sprint in Mansfield many years before retiring. When he wasn’t working Danny enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, golfing and woodworking. He always supported his Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Curt) Baden; brother Jeff (Sharon) Sutter; sister Karen (Brad) Crownover; step-daughter Nicole (Cory) Bara and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife Laura Sutter and his parents.
The Sutter family requests (in true Danny fashion) for friends to call in casual attire on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service honoring Danny’s life will begin immediately at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Dallas Waggle will speak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Danny’s memory may be made at the funeral. Please, make checks payable to Wounded Warrior Project and put Harley Davidson on the memo line.
