Agnes Kyle, 86, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Seven Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Seven Hills, Ohio.
Born March 6, 1931 in Tennessee to George Thomas and Cora Lee (Black) Munday. She was a resident of Nova before moving to Shelby in 1994. She was a 1948 high school graduate and worked at the quarter store in Cleveland for many years.
Agnes was a member of the Journey Life Center in Mansfield for over the past 20 years. She had a kind heart and fostered over 15 children in her lifetime. She enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening and canning food as well as spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Doug (Rhonda) Johnson, of West Salem, Robert (Debi) Kyle, of Ashland, Harry Kyle, of Ashland, Thomas Kyle, of Ashland, Justine Kyle and many foster children; eight grandchildren Athena, Douglas, Joshua, Merideth, Kacy, Michael, Noah, Christopher; eight great-grandchildren Rachel, Kyle, Abbie, Wyatt, Owen, Ryley, Sabastyan and Scarlett; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Levernum Kyle Sr.; sons, Art Kyle Jr. and Ben Kyle; grandson Benji Kyle; great grandson Alex Collins; four brothers Earl, Ewing, Jack and Bob; three sisters Margaret, Bernice, Christine and Lucille.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Ted Mason of the Ashland Worship Center will officiate with interment at Sullivan Southview Cemetery in Sullivan, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon.
