Paige McCoy Cameron, 84, passed this life on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Arbors of Mifflin Nursing Center after an extended illness.
Mrs. Cameron was born on Monday, March 21, 1932 to the late Hinton and Flossie (Taylor) Wiggins in South Hampton County, Virginia and had lived in Mansfield the past 61 years. Paige was a homemaker, and a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board.
Paige is survived by 5 daughters: Dorothy Wiggins, Mansfield, Nancy Cameron, Wooster, Shirley Cameron, Jeannette Cameron-Hess, Christine (Steven) Cameron-Callendar, all of Petersburg, Virginia; 3 sons: Ned Cameron, Jr. and his companion Darlene, Westerville, Perrynail Cameron of Mansfield, and
Joseph Cameron of Columbus; four sisters: Beulah Jackson, Gladys Wiggins, Stoney Creek, Virginia, Annalee (Joseph) Wright, Jarrett, Virginia, and Flossie Wyatt, Petersburg; four brothers: Robert (Valerie) Wiggins, Julius (Dorothy) Wiggins, McNeil (Mary) Wiggins, and William (Laura) Wiggins, all of Norfolk, Virginia; 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and her very good friend Consuela Jackson, Mansfield.
In addition to her parents Paige was also preceded in death by her husband Ned, 2 sisters Florence and Micki Wiggins, 3 brothers, Arthur, James, and Prince Wiggins, three grandchildren, Breaunna and Michael Wiggins, and Brittany Manns.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church by her pastor, Rev. Clinton N. Hearns. Friends may call at the church Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. till time of service. Interment will be held Monday, 11 a.m. in the Morning Star Cemetery in Capron, Virginia.
